Black Bourbon Society bridges the gap between the spirits industry and African American bourbon enthusiasts through our social media platforms, brand-partnered events, and exclusive excursions. Samara Davis, Chief Bourbon Enthusiast and Founder of the Black Bourbon Society is a seasoned event planner and experiential marketing, producer.

As an advocate of diversity and inclusion within the Spirits/Beverage industry, Samara wanted to create media momentum for event activations and partnerships such as Jim Beam Open Door Campaign, Black Manhattan Project, and more. She partnered with Walker + Associates Media Group for a national press campaign targeting television appearances, digital outlets, and regional/local press in each activation market.

Within the first nine months of working together, we secured Forbes, Essence Magazine, and The New York Times to name a few. Samara continued to partner with Walker + Associates Media Group for two years securing top-tier press in outlets such as GQ.com, Whiskey Advocate, Garden & Gun, E! News, among others.
